Do you ever feel no one really understand or knows you? Do you sometimes feel lost and all alone? Feeling isolated? That is how I feel sometimes but then I have to remember that I am loved. I might not have the social life I once had, I may find myself alone with my pets more than before. But…I can honestly say that since I became a Christian I really am never alone. I read a verse in Isaiah that says “Do not be afraid, I am your God, I will help you.”
That brings me great comfort. I don’t know what people who do not know the Lord do for security or assurance. I’m glad you visited my blog and I hope you have a great week. Feel free to leave a comment.
Wow! Thank you so much for visiting my private blog. My husband contacted the church to see if we could do an ‘in home ministry’ by calling the shut-ins. He could call the men and I could call the women. That would help my isolation as well. They are putting me new meds, (hopefully the insurance will pay for it) and I am going to try a new sleep mask for my sleep apnea. Then, I need to get this HUGE amount of weight off of me. Please continue to pray for me. I do love the Lord and I want my life to bring glory to His name.
Hi!
I just found this blog from a post from G.
I completely understand what you are saying. We move often and I have felt alone many times. This assignment has been horrible for us. There is no one that I am close to here. I have many aquaintances, but no real FRIENDS. I spend lots of time with my kids & Dh.
All of my close friends “live” in my computer. I keep in touch through blogs, email and occasionally a chat. I sure do miss being able to pick up the phone to invite a friend over to stamp/craft or watch a movie, or just to hang out over a cup of coffee/tea.
I lean on the Lord often right now.
